Explanation / Answer

I was being reached out by various managers in the organization to conduct a Creative Confidence session for employees because the client has given feedbacks that few teams are very much mechanical intheir work and they do whatever is assigned but do not provide useful inputs of ideas in teh process. I planned to conduct this but as time is a constraint I scheduled the metting at 4 pm during the snacks break so that employees can take this session in a more casual way and feel that they require it instead of forcing them to take the session.

a. The talk was about how to make their contributions add value to the clients and how to make the client feel that the employees are actually working together and helping the client do good. I have designed the session with examples, stories and feedback from the client and the objective is to make the employees understand, what actually is required from them in the process. It was somewhat like lunch and learn although not duing the lunch session but during the snacking time.

b. I made the session interesting and the learning was designed like the blended learning where there was conventional learning along with technology assisted learning. I believe that the audience needs to understand the importance of this session and they need to attend it and the time of the session is so maintained that it does not effect the deliverable of the employees. As an HR professional the programs can actually be fruitful if they are scheduled during this time or breaks so that the employee should not feel that their personal time is getting reduced.

c. In order to increase employee turnout in the process it would be better if the HR actually makes the session more interesting, providing free snacks, encouraging employees by stating the improvement that employees have actually exhibited after attending the session.

d. In order to know that the sesion has an impact, the employees performance needs to be monitored and it should be known that they are applying what they learnt from the session or not. The number of turnput in the following session is another measure because if more numbetr turnout it will indicate that the session has been fruitful and if the turnout is less, then the session may not have been as per the expectation of the employees.
