Executive Summary:

Management and the organization are the two-different terms of the same business. The organizational resources should be managed to get the effective results from it. Product designing is the process of generating an idea and put it into the framework which would be useful for the user or the consumer. This article actually helps to investigate the interrelationships among product design, organization design, processes for learning and managing knowledge, and competitive strategies they follow. Here we work on the principle of decomposition which actually decomposes the systems to find out the standardized interfaces between the decomposed components. Here the embedded coordination of product development process is used because it provides the hierarchical coordination without the need of tight coupling. This is actually development of the concept of modularity in the product designing and organizational designing based on the standardized component and organization interfaces. These products architects create the informational structures. Actually, it provides a glue to the loosely coupled modular components. Modularity enables new strategic approach to the management of the knowledge based on an intentional, carefully managed loose coupling of a firm's learning processes at architectural and component levels of product creation processes. Hence the modularity actually bind the knowledge or information into the organizational and product design by managing the small components of it.
