The leadership philosophy that I follow in my life is to be a fair and supportive leader. A leader is one who is looked upon by his subordinates. It is the responsibility of the leader to treat his subordinates fairly, without any discrimination. I try to treat my employees fairly. In any situation, I try to have an unbiased opinion and based on my perspective, suggest the solution.

The code of conduct or value system in my firm will be:

The HR policies and procedures will help me in instilling the above-mentioned code of conduct in the culture of my business. All HR processes will be designed aiming at fulfillment of above objectives.

For example: to ensure equality at work, there will be no quota or bias in the recruitment process and all talents will be valued from the same lens.

I would create an ethics policy for the firm, which will revolve around the value system. This policy will lay out the guidelines for employees, addressing majority of business scenarios and the expected conduct from them in the same.

Instilling fun, equality and transparency at work will make the work environment very motivating and performance driven. Efforts of all employees will be recognized and appreciated at every level. This will drive the organization towards customer centricity.

The buy-in of the stakeholders for the above-mentioned value system can be a challenge as majority of the stakeholders want the business strategy and performance system to directly aim at profit making. Through the above value system, we are indirectly aiming at making profits. The buy-in of all stakeholders towards this vision can be a bit challenging.
