In the above paragraph is the "Statement of the problem expressed in the “language of the problem.” In the second one i tried to make the "Statement of the problem owner’s vision of the situation after the problem is solved." But im off on the vision as a business analysyst. The company is a software compnay, that develops solutions for home builders. Pls help!

Statement of the Problem in the Language of the Proble The overall problem that the homebuilders face is caused by the high range of customization that is available to the customers. This causes an increased amount of time wasted on implementing customer data. Home builders currently must use a series of tedious forms to transcribe all of the customers data. These are then stored in database files that take up a can take up large amounts of storage. If there are any necessary changes that must be made to the customer's file, the home builders must locate file and make these changes to multiple forms. This process can lead to inconsistencies and mistakes with customer orders and can ultimately lead to substantial loss in time and revenue Statement of Problem Owner's Vision After the problem has been solved the owner will possibly consider taking all the requirements of the customers before the construction process. The owner may also not entertain any customizations once the construction is completed, therefore the time invested as well as effort into the remodeling, was put into construct and may possibly be getting wasted

Explanation / Answer

As a business analyst this would be seen as a large set of data that is dynamic in nature as customer keeps on customizing and is stored in an unorganized manner. The business analysis would ensure that the requirements are freeze in the beginning and a cost is associated with each customization that should be incurred from the customer , this will help the company in investing time in valuable business and cost is also not an issue. If some sort of obligation is put on customer as well then requests for customization would be less and as a business analyst my job of saving time and money would also be done in an effective manner. I will be developing software having all the dynamic filters of cost and time that would be required for each customization and also it will reflect the amount that would be paid by the customer, also the deviation from the actual budget for the company would also be depicted.
