Explanation / Answer

1. Extraversion is usually measured should self report questionnaires and inventories. In the study conducted by Keighin et al. (2009) the extraversion subscale of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) was utilised.

2. Extraversion may also be measured through peer evaluations. For instance, Maricutoiu et al. (2012) in their study of personality made use of peer evaluations by asking acquaintances of participants to evaluate them on several objectives using a 7 point Likert scale.
