Woman Abolitionists existed from every class and race, there were segregation of black and white woman abolitionists, and they also differed in terms of their social statues, and indeed their activities did differ as a consequence of their standing in the society.

For instance, the rich and high status woman had a different approach towards the movement, they were into the distribution of leaflets and lobbying, whereas the lower class woman abolitionists were more inclined towards a mass lecture in open spaces. Their activities were in direct correlation to the resources that were at their disposal.

But both types of activities helped in creating a radical movement. Despite the lack of education background of sundry woman who were involved in the Abolitionist movement, they were able to garner momentum. Many essay regarding the same subject purview were also written and published.
