Question

Please help check my grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, topic sentences. Thank you very very much!

I scored a 37 for Theory X and a 63 for Theory Y. I would say this result have some accurate level to it, but not 100% true. I was expected for a lower score for theory X, because most of the time, I have a lot of confidence in my co-workers. Sometimes, I trust people way more than I should. Once I’m close to someone, I trust them with all my heart. That can be a good or bad thing. Good, because I will have a close and deeper relationship with them, easier to work with and more comfortable communicating with each other. The shadow side of this is, I’m so get use to my group of friends and when someone else give me criticism, I’m not open for feedbacks, other ideas and innovations.

I don’t usually make any assumption about other people until I actually get to know them. But I know I tend to judge people based on their education’s background. So, I would assume and trust this people more if they have higher education than others. Which is not a good assumption at all. Because I had faced with people that is so intelligence, but they don’t have high education background. Because of my assumption, I missed some opportunities to be friend with all the amazing people.

I personally don’t like micromanaging people, I like to give them their own personal space to work on their tasks. I understand people can’t work under pressure, so I try my best to avoid monitoring and controlling people who work for me. It’s not very hard to earn my trust. I am a soft-hearted person, so if you’re nice person and treat me with respect. I will 100% treat you with dignity. Sometimes, I feel like I can’t become an effective leader, because I think in order to become a leader, you have to be tough!

Explanation / Answer

I scored a 37 on Theory X and a 63 on Theory Y. I reckon, the results are accurate to a level, but not 100% true. I was expecting a lower score on theory X, that is because most of the time, I am confident about my co-workers. Sometimes, I trust people way more than I should. Once I’m close to someone, I trust them with all my heart. That can sometimes turn out to be a good thing and the other times bad. Good, because I then have a close and deeper relationship with them, easier to work with and more comfortable communicating with each other. On the hindsight, I get so comfortable with my group of friends that I cannot take any criticism, be open for feedbacks, other ideas and innovations.

I don’t usually make any assumptions about other people until I actually get to know them. However, I know I tend to judge people based on their educational background. I assume that individuals with an higher education are more trust worthy than the others, which is not a good assumption at all. I say that because, I have met with people who are so intelligent, but they do not have a higher level of education. Due to my presumptions, I missed some opportunities to be friends with amazing people.

I personally don’t like micromanaging individuals, I like to give them their own personal space to work on their tasks. I understand people can’t work under pressure, so I try my best to avoid monitoring and controlling people who work for me. It’s not very hard to earn my trust. I am a soft-hearted person.
