-Contributing factors that play a role in one's intelligence are genetic and environmental factors. This is supported by the twin study and siblings reared in the same home study.

- The effect of language on thought is the framing or filtering an individual does. It enables to focus on perception, attention and thought to specific aspects in the world around.

The factors that contribut to learning or processing information are: actual prior knowledge of the subject area, internal or external motivation to learn, attention span, memory abilities, intelligence quotient.

-Imagery is the descriptive definition of anything mostly in visual representation. It works on the senses and receptors of the mind.

- A cognitive map is one kind of mental representation which allows a person to gain, code, store, recall and decode information about everything around them that occurs in everyday life. The cognitive map allow you to do your everyday activites by being aware of what is where.

- The multiple intelligence theroy differentiates intellignece on different modalities and not one specific attributes. According to Gardner the modalities of multiple intelligence are:

- Some people are naturally exceptional due to their genetic and environmental factors and influences. But this does not make them shine in every aspect of life. They would be average in few areas.

Social intelligence is what you use to interact with other individuals and society. It is one's ability to interact well and effectively with others.

Emotional intelligence is the ability to manage ones emotions with awareness and responsibility. It is also the capacity to understand the feelings of others.

- The genetic influences of intelligence are the genes passed on from the family. The hereditary make up. Genetic illness also affect intelligence.

Environmental influences are school, upbringing, education, diseases, economic factors and so on.
