1. The primary hypothesis of the study was to find if there was any difference between conversing with passengers in the vehicle while driving and talking on the phone while driving.

2. The independent variable in the study was conversation.

3. The dependent variable in the study was driving performance.

4. The results of the study revealed that cell phone conversations negatively impacts driving performance, whereas conversing with fellow passengers has little impact on driving performance.
