Explanation / Answer

1. Give two examples of how you could operationalize "happiness."

The processes by which happiness could be operationalised are as follows:

2. In order to check for happiness and testing for happiness, one would be splitting the test into two halves. One of these halves could be used to be compared with the other half, and it should be made sure that both these halves should be matching.

3. In order to check the validity of the test, the two procedures used can be face validity as well as content validity. Face validity could be used for checking if the survey would be appropriate and content validity is used for checking if the content is appropriately tested.

4. In order to test for reliability and validity of the scale, a person could be taking a block of bread and measure it once. Followed by this, the block has to be removed, after noting the measure. After a while, the the clock should be placed again and measure should be noted. As a result the scale and its reliability would be tested. This is called test retest reliability. Also, for checking validity, the block of bread would be measured on different scales toncjekc if the measures match.
