STRUCTURE OF PROTEIN
PRIMARY STRUCTURE: In this the atoms are bound with chemical bonds . These bonds are peptide bonds . Denatureation does not alter any peptide bonds . Hence primary structure is intact in primary structure.
SECONDARY STRUCTURE : The primary structure undergoes multiple folds among itself to form the secondary structure . These folds are bound together by hydrogen bonds, salt bridges and disulphide bonds
TERITIARY STRUCTURE : Complex folding of the secondary structure results in the formation of the teritiary structure of the protein. The bonds are same as in secondary structure.
