Overtraining happens when you perform more training both in and out of the gym than your body can recover from. This could result in weeks or months of recovery. Due to overtraining there would be sudden increase in exercise e frequency, intensity or duration of training sessions which do not allow your body to have adequate recovery. Genetics and length of the time for training also lay a huge role in your ability to resist training.
Overtraining may result in good output but it can also give some severe side effects that could affect the efficiency of the athletes. Some these symptoms include tiredness, decrease in performance, elevated blood pressure, injuries, decreased heartrate, and endurance. Other reason would be lack of motivation, loss of grip strength, becoming restless and lose focus.
