Sensory reception: Through sensory reception, humans react to changes in the environment. The nerve endings receive stimuli/impulse. As a result, impulse is generated and is transmitted to the brain. The brain percieves the stimulus and processes the information therein.
Fishes have eyes similar to mammals. They show color vision. Fishes do not have tear glands as mammals as the latter remain immersed in water.
Mechanoreception: Response of sensory cells to a mechanical stimulus is termed mechanoreception.
Hearing: The ability to percieve sound is termed hearing. Sound perception is possible through detection of vibrations.
