Having read about psychology's entrepreneurs and the marketing of industrial psychology, post a considered opinion of why psychology's testing technology was widely accepted but scientific management was widely criticized. What differences existed between the two that resulted in their having different experiences? What was it about the zeitgeist of the times that resulted in these outcomes? If both were introduced (as brand new) to society tomorrow, would the outcomes be any different? How would they be accepted if they were introduced tomorrow?

It is being said that though there are better therapies and methods for the various testing technologies in psychology, and that the professionals are also eager to look into these methods, the practice of the newer methods has not been seen in being implemented. One of the main reasons of the criticism of scientific management is the implementation of newer technologies and strict adherence to the age old practices. There have been studies and review of treatments that have shown how big the gap is between science and the methods that are being devised and the practice that is being carried out. It is a large area of concern of how different methods can be used such that the newer methods can be implemented as practice. Also, it has been observed that in order to provide encouragement to practitioners, there may be requirements of incentives such that they would be inclined in adoption of newer technologies.

If both the older methods and newer technologies would be introduced as brand new,netherworld would be a definite inclination towards the newer techniques, because of there soundness and logical acceptance. Moreover, from a new perspective, the practitioners themselves would be able to spot design flaws in the older methods.
