1). Hypnosis is the induction of an altered state consciousness in which the person focus on and responds to the suggestions of an instructor, while the peripheral awareness is reduced. It also called as hypnotherapy. The hypnotic state resembles normal sleep. A hypnotized person incorporates the suggestions (usually related to the past experiences of the person) of instructor into the behavior and beliefs and tries to retrieve the information in the subconscious mind.
