Explanation / Answer

1. None of the items listed above will be misunderstood. All the items are written using a clear language. Each item conveys and asks for only one information.

2. No question seems to be biased or slanted. All the items reflect transperancy in terms of what is being asked.

3. Wordings of the questions are not misleading. Only one thought is conveyed in one item. There are no conflicting sentences and also items have not been constructed using negative meaning words.

4. Yes. The response format is 5 point Likert rating scale. The data of such a questionnaire may be used for higher order statistics as the data is on an interval scale.

5. Yes, there are some items like item no. 10, 14, 15, 17 and 21 which seem to be a little loaded on social desirability.

6. the questions are worded in the way they are because people while responding to questionnaire items at times tend to evoke a response which is socially desirable. People at times have a tendency to respond in a manner which casts their positive impression on others and thereby have a tendency to give biased responses.
