The reasons our society has gone from regarding their children as property to the little humans that need love and care. The biggest difference between todays time and the early days is the need for children to be assets in their parents lives. Parents counted on having children to help with the physical labor of everyday life. They were seen as nothing more than a workforce. Today, we no longer require children to help sustain the family, therefore children are being born because parents simply want them as opposed to needing them.

In earlier times children were seen as nothing more than a workforce. Today, we no longer require children to help sustain the family; therefore children are being born because parents simply want them as opposed to needing them. The possible explanation for this fact is that in today’s world which is an educated world where great stress is given to education; the kids go to school these days rather than work as labors in the erstwhile underdeveloped world. More and more people are getting conscious of the importance of education, so they want to send their kids to school rather than to some physical labor
