If my case was chosen, and the offender has done the same thing just like James Holmes, than the decision of court is absolutely perfect. Death penalty is granted in very rare cases, and the offence what James Holmes has done is heinous act. And he deserves death for his offence, and he should not be allowed for life imprisonment. He was given lawyers, to prove his innocent, but his offence was brutal. Every person deserves a chance but James Holmes has crossed his limits after killing 12 innocent people.
He could have gone to see doctor after he was facing problem, and even in jail he could visit to mental health doctors to improve his illness, which can lead to good health.
