Medicare is a health insurance programme for people aged more than 65 or and also for some younger people with disabilities,that is for people with chronic renal disease ( dialysis or kidney transplant patients)

The specific services of medicare includes

Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a health insurance program implemented for making affordable health insurance available to all people. It provides consumers with subsidies. The main aim of this programme is to expand the medicare programme to cover all the adults with lower income.In this type of plan a person can stay on their parents plan until they turn 26 and the insurers will not charge huge premiums if you are a women

Comparison   

Both Medicare programme and Affordable Care Act are designed to provides medical support. When compared to Medicare programme, the Affordable Care Act is more flexible in providing medical support to all age groups. In comparison with ACA, medicare is successfull in providing more health care facilities with rigid rules. ACA has succeeded in eliminating the conventional practices that include rescission and denial of coverage due to pre existing conditions. But in medicare programme the coverage will be denied if any pre existing condition is there. ACA make sure that you have financial protection if you face illness. On the other hand in Medicare programme ,the policy must be taken before the onset of illness. Medicare programmes are more rigid in providing health care facilities when compared to ACA. When compared to Medicare programme ACA is more benificial in serving patients with difficulties.

Summary & Conclusion

   For a human life which is unpredictable at each moment, medical facilities with financial protection at the eleventh hour for large mass of people of various level of income should be the the prime focus and goal of any Insurance programme. On this grounds ACA proves to be much more beneficial than Medicare with better freedom of choice
