1.My initial respose would be very friendly to mr Joers.I would make him believe that I won/t harm him in any and can be his friend if behave properly.Next would be calming him in best possible way so as to get the best out of him and thus I would provide the things better likeable to him like some good books etc.

2.these behaviour could be a dificult one but being a doctor a person should be use to of it and must care for the the patient in any way as provided.

3.His symptoms could have been worsened by the anxiety of the next day surgery going to him .That could have worsened his situation,

4.the initial actions would be to make the staff aware of this so that they must be friendly in any way and also special regulatory steps like making Mr Joens take rest and ahving a great day by keeping hikmbusy.
