Explanation / Answer
Ideology - Ideology is a set of ideals, institution and principals. The purpose of ideology is to define how the society should work. Every culture has a set of ideologies that they believe, and their life's decisions and actions are based on those ideologies.
Interpellation - Interpellation means to question a person in power about his actions and conduct. Interpellation is a common notion in political culture wherein the opposition is always ready to interpellate the other party's ideas.
Hegemony - Hegemony refers to dominance of a particular individual/community over the society. Every culture has a dominant force(government/presidential rule) that governs the way the people are supposed to live.
In the article, it is interesting the way the author describes historical event presemted in the form of media. It says - "the event must become a “story”before it can become a communicative event."
This is very true. It is very important that ny historical event must be articulated and must be converted into a story-line, so that audiencs is able to relate between the event series. Any raw historical event cannot be presented before the audience.
