Explanation / Answer
Being born and brought up in India, I have seen/read numbers of discrimination on gender, caste, religion, widows and the list goes on and on.
Let's talk about discrimination on the basis of caste and religion. In India there is a high caste called Brahmins(Teachers, Saints), then comes Kshatriyas(Warrior), Vaishyas(Workers, tradesmen) and lower castes which are O.B.C's, Shudras, The Untouchables, Dalits(Street cleaners or similar jobs)
In today's world where yes education is being provided to all castes pupil, there is still discrimination seen when they go for job interviews. If a lower castes, there is a higher chances of him getting rejected.
Similarly, gender discrimination is seen here since ages! Men get jobs easily as compared to women because women may get married and get pregnant and may need maternity leaves!
