Strokes are brain attacks. A stroke is a medical emergency which should be treated immediately. Stroke is of two types: Ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke. Ischemic stroke occurs due to block of arteries, hemorrhagic stroke occurs due to the blood leaking into brain may be due to rupture of arteries.
