Obesity is the condition of our health in which the excess energy we intake or may be due to various reason the food gets deposited on the subcutaneous or various regions and causes clinical effects which has negative effect on health.

Mainly any vague people may say the main reason of obesity is overeating or any seen causes like lack of exercise, but the main causes are hidden behind all these reasons.

Obesity in the present scenario can be called as an epidemic which is spreading.factors like urge of eating tasty foods are increasing as a trend in this present world.

People are generally considered obese when their body mass index (BMI), a measurement obtained by dividing a person's weight by the square of the person's height, is over 30 kg/m2, with the range 25–30 kg/m2 defined as overweight.

The causes of this obesity can be :

Mainly the bad food habits like eating fast foods and intaking oily foods in high quantity. Next , there are genetic association for obesity ..because the body metabolism sets a much of food digestion which determines foods to digest rapidly or slowly. Next, various diseases also determines like particularly cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, obstructive sleep apnea, certain types of cancer, osteoarthritis and depression. Next the lack of exercise and being lazy at work are the primary causes for it. Also endocrine disoreders may cause of this obesity.

Measures are to be taken for this growing condition and are to be implemented as health programs

The proper diet are to be maintained and proper healthy food intake are to be done which is of low calorific value and which supplements daily requirements.

Then come exercise , a daily routine exercise of around 45-60 minutes is required everyday. This helps to burn calories and can prevent from the complications of obesity like hypertension , others.

Thus health educators need to concentrate on this epidemic and need to implement this common plans which may safe lives.
