Sports Industry: The sport industry where the sports are organized for generating high revenues during the holidays or weekends for high people flow rates.

Team formation: Team based work culture are the latest ways of managing any business successfully. The team delivers the benefits of usage of large skill sets clubbed together for achieving the single common goal for the organization.

An example of how successful team management solved an industry problem or how they keep the organization running smoothly: Take the example of IPL RCB Bangalore team. The team owner is not in India and he is outside of India, but the owner made the team for managing the RCB team for the IPL matches. The managing team is such that they manage the team in such a way that they played well in the tournament and they achieved the position in top four teams of the tournaments.

Thus team formation is good concept which helps in delivering the supeioror results for the business organizations.

Credentials should the industry team manager hold – the team manager of the sports industry needs to have good credentials in terms of team management and team motivation. Team motivation and team behavioral aspects are the key factors which can help in managing the team effectively. The manager may not have good knowledge of the sports but he should have good knowledge on people management, people motivation, people development. These values help the manager to deliver superior results for the organization. Experience is not necessary. If the experience is available then it is good, but it is not necessary that experience is must. It may happen that in absence of experience also, the manager can do better team management.

Difference between team leadership and team management – team management is managing the team for getting the tasks by team but team leadership means developing the team to get the desired superior results. The team leadership will help the team to won the competition or lead the competition with superior performances.
