The cause that I am seeing at the center of this article is the effects of low organ donations not meeting the global needs. This leads to those that want to take advantage of the situation tapping into both low income that are suffering from poverty and high-income people that need the lifesaving donation (Bilefsky, 2012). The article continues to show that the growth of illegal organ sales in some countries such as Europe is due to the internet, one other countries those that are suffering from not having jobs to provide for their families use advertisements in order to promote organ sales (Bilefsky, 2012). Human organ sales on the black market have been able to thrive do to sinister people being fully aware that there is a combination of low donations, people suffering in poverty, and wealthy people that are willing to pay vast amounts of money in order to obtain a life-saving organ. the article continues to show that a possible cause that organ sales on the black market have seen growth is due to a absence of a proper legal system in which people are able to sell their organs. in this article I was able to find more collaborating evidence and statistics that go alongside the causes that I listed in my essay such as the implications of poverty in the role it plays in people selling their organs.

This portrays the truth behind the actual scenario of selling organs in black market. Due to requirement of money, the poor people donate organs at very less cost while rich people in requirement of organs buy them at expensive prices. This gives the mediators a lot of profit. Most of the transactions happen illegally and in an unsterilized manner. Poor people who donate organs are completely exploited.
