Ans.Paul Broca is known for his discovery of the speech production center of the brain located in the ventroposterior region of the frontal lobes which is now known as Broca's area. He arrived at this discovery by studying the brains of persons with speech and language disorders resulting from brain injuries(aphasic patients).

The remarkable growth that occurs during the first years of a child’s life lays the foundation for future development . Early childhood development, such as cognitive growth, verbal ability, and behavior, has important implications for the degree of success children experience when they transition to formal schooling.This success in turn predicts academic achievement and educational attainment in later childhood, adolescence, and adulthood.The kinship, both cognitive and emotional is at its higest when we are a child than what it is during the early 20's.

It is a collection of structures from the telencephalon, diencephalon, and mesencephalon.It includes the olfactory bulbs, hippocampus, hypothalamus, amygdala, anterior thalamic nuclei, fornix, columns of fornix, mammillary body, septum pellucidum, habenular commissure, cingulate gyrus, parahippocampal gyrus, entorhinal cortex, and limbic midbrain areas.The limbic system supports a variety of functions including emotion, behavior, motivation, long-term memory, and olfaction.Emotional life is largely housed in the limbic system, and it has a great deal to do with the formation of memories.
