Currently, most medical scientists believe that AIDS is caused by HIV.
There is a group of scientists who have challenged the HIV-AIDS hypothesis, stating that the correlation is pure circumstantial. They even say that AIDS might not be infectious at all?!
And, there is a 3rd group who say that only the presence of HIV in a person does not cause AIDS, but should be another virus, or substance or something else that will trigger the pistol.
Research about this and be advocate of the approach that is more attractive or make more sense to you and voice your opinion.

Most of literature says that AIDS is the end stage of HIV infection. But some of scientists saying it due another virus or substances or something else.
To find the correct relationship between the HIV & AIDS the quantitative approach in that perspective research study can be useful.
Prospective study is one of the research method in which the sample are selected purposefully who had HIV infection and observing them for changes and for AIDS.
It is the appropriate approach to find the relationship between the HIV and AIDS
