Does there appear to be subcutaneous fat in the wing? lateral view of right chicken winExplanation / Answer
1) The bumpy appearance of the chicken wing is due to biceps muscle. There is a thin layer of subcutaneous fat beneath the skin.
2) The chicken wing is placed in such a way that the bumpier side is upside. Then, the direction in which the pointed nub is present is noted. If the nub faces left hand side, then the chicken wing is of right wing and vice versa.
3) If the biceps muscle is pulled, the chicken wing is flexed. If triceps is pulled, then the chicken wing is extended.
4) At the end of humerus, radius and ulna, epiphysis and articular cartilages are seen.
