Explain. 2. What diversity practices would you put in place to prevent the kinds of behaviors alleged in this case? Explain.Explanation / Answer
1. The claim put forward by the Caucasian executives are supposed to be true because based on the information that has been forwarded it is very much evident that the organization discriminate non-Asians and women while employing and that is the reason the organization has only one Hispanic employee in the top management team of 121. In order to prevent such behaviors I would be applying and practicing various steps, like:
1. Giving priority to local inhabitants and that should be the strategy of each and every organizations establishes in a different nation.
2. Discrimination is illegal and should not be practiced based on gender, ethnicity, color, race, national origin, etc.
3. Recruitment should be fair and not based on any discriminatory practices.
4. Individuals should not be generalized based on their national origin or gender which is visible in the organization.
2. Diversity is considered to be the new trend that the organizations follow and diversity actually help the organization in dealing with clients from various cultures. In order to enhance diversity each and every team has to have mix and match culture so that they bond well and nobody feels deprived. In each hierarchy level of the organization there should be cultural diversity along with gender that will invite more and more ideas for the organization and will work for the betterment of the organization. I believe that the leaders should promote diversity because it has actually helped organizations go beyond their expectation and I will convince the management to follow an equivalent strategy.
