Question

Lookup several criteria in 2 columns of data.

I have a sample of what I'm working on and need help with a formula to give me a desired result. It's similar to this below.

If Col. A is either "Joe", "Bob", "Kay" or "Sue" -AND- Col. B is "IS", then "IS". But if Col. A is either" Joe", "Bob", "Kay" or "Sue" -AND- Col. B is not "IS", then "Other". It should not show anything in Col. C for any other name.

Basically for "Joe", "Bob", "Kay" or "Sue", I need all the IS codes to show as "IS" in Col. C. And for all other codes (for their names only), I need it to show "Other".

Name Code Result Joe IS IS Joe MN Other Bob IS IS Kay IS IS Kay FB Other Sue FB Other Jay FB Jon MN Tom IS
