Is there a way to add a second file to the target line in a shortcut so that 2 separate files open at the same time?

I have the following shortcut which has a target of "D:Data FilesMy Docs�4.xlsx"

This currently opens an excel file in that location.

I want to add another file to the target line, file 2015.xlsx.

I have tried various combinations:

"D:Data FilesMy Docs�4.xlsx""D:Data FilesMy Docs�5.xlsx"

"D:Data FilesMy Docs�4.xlsx D:Data FilesMy Docs�5.xlsx"

and others but it always only opens the 2014 file.

Is there a way to do this?

Hi..

try this

Save the two together as a View>Save Workspace file   *.xlw

Then shortcut to that file.
