There are many social netwroking sites where everyone's personal data resides.We can choose any.
But lets take an example of one database that everyone is related to and it is Bank Databases in which everyone is linked with their accounts of particular banking system.
When a security breach occurs do as follow:
1.Develop A Plan for exit strategy
2.Identify which Critical Data sectors got breached
3.Form a team to resolve it.

To protect from security breaches you can do one of the following:
1.Ensure proper physical security of the device:
Lock down the device. Secure your fils befor leaving them.
2.Ensure internal security:
Use extra security measures for portable devices nd portable electronic media containing sensitive or critical information.You can use
Encryption
Extra physical security
Even portable devices and media with encrypted PII must have strict physical security
