In below there is question and answer, What I need is I want comment about the answer( feel free to agree or disagree with answer and explain (in 2 or 3 paragraph) why you agree or disagree)

Question:
Each protocol discussed in the class has a place in the email implementation. Discuss, how and where each of them is used.

Answer:

Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP): This protocol is used when you push the email messages to the email server. This is used for sending email.

Post Office Protocol (POP): This protocol is used when you want to pull email messages from the email server and store them locally only. When using POP, the email message is moved to the email client. So the messages are no longer accessible on the email server and the only copy of the email is retained locally.

Internet Mail Access Protocol (IMAP): This is used when you want to pull email messages from the email server and also keep them on the email server. When using IMAP, the email message is viewed in the email client but stays on the email server. The message is accessible from other clients as well. This is commonly used by web email clients (Outlook Web Access, G.mail, etc...)

A common setup would be to use IMAP for viewing email and SMTP for sending and receiving email. This allows the email to be accessed across multiple clients and kept in sync.

Explanation / Answer

Please add these lines if you find them helpful.

SMTP - It is a TCP/IP protocol which is used for sending and receiving emails. It is able to queue the message at the server side (or receiving end).

No need to change the informatiion given for POP, because it has everything that a POP protocol does, you should specify that these are the protocols of TCP/IP.

IMAP - and also define that ...................................................IMAP is better than POP because it lets us check our mail multiple times but POP does not.

You can delete the line... A common setup would be to use IMAP............................................across multiple clients and kept in sync. This is not that much meaningful.
