         Globalregisters = 18

          Thenumber of register windows = 12

        Let x be thenumber of input/output registers in each window.

         The totalinput registers = 12 * x = 12x

        The total outputregisters = 12* x = 12x

        The total outputregisters = 12* 10 = 120

       Total number ofregisters = input + output +local +global

                     i.e,186               =12x+12x+120+18

                                                =24x+138

                                              X= (186-138)/24

                                                  =4                                         

  Each register window set contains 2 input and 2output registers.
