Request for Proposal (RFP) is a commonly used document in B2B business in which Buyer usually send this to seller by including the details such as project need and specific question that customer may have while going through the document.

A good response to any RFP is include the Company information, Idea on project implementation and completion, answer to the specific questions of the customers, pricing section, risk management and reference to your past clientele.

It’s always better not to disclose the secret weapons of your, you can always give a high-level perspective and call to action for giving rest of the solution architecture diagram etc, once customer signed the Agreement letter. You can easily cross sell and up sell about your project with Bundling price strategy, which give a perception to customers that they are getting more value out of the deal.

It’s always better Idea not to quote less than market price and before submitting the proposal have thorough knowledge of competitors pricing strategy.

Last piece how can you strategically answer the Q&A:

Do not ask any such question whose answer basically leave the ground for competitors to enter battle in greater efficiency. Secondly you can also be diplomatic while to customer Q&A too if they are directly jumping to get the complete solution from you.
