• At an individual level, what can you do reduce personal discomfort, avoid faulty assumptions, and promote comfort and trust so that older adults, persons with disabilities, and other medically complex individuals receive the most culturally and situationally appropriate assistance for their sexual health needs?
Explanation / Answer

The health and human service providers need to be more open minded.
They need to walk the talk when they claim that the information shared with them is kept confidential.
Efforts should be taken to ensure any sensitive data is destroyed or contained very securely.
Employees should be able to access their "personal data" any time they want to.
Once every 90 days, the human and health departments need to touch base with the employees to check how they are doing etc.

First and the foremost, I will promote the concept that we are all equal.
Talk to them open and make them feel comfortable and most importantly, make them feel that they are important and normal.
Socialize with them over weekends, share and laugh at jokes, exchange knowledge about things and plan for short trips, campings etc. These things will make them feel comfortable and bring about certain changes in their behavioural patterns.
