Company WRC is a wholesale company that buys products from suppliers (manufacturers or importers) and sells them to customers. Company WRC operates a number of depots which hold stocks of products and deliver orders to all customers in a geographical area assigned to them. Company WRC has a number of sales representatives who take orders from customers.
There are certain rules that Company WRC applies.
1. Multiple suppliers may supply the same product.
2. Company WRC keeps details of potential suppliers (i.e., suppliers who are not currently supplying any products).
3. The entire area Company WRC operates in is divided into geographical areas, one for each depot.
4. Each customer is delivered to from the depot for the geographical area in which they are located.
5. Every depot has at least 1 customer in its area.
6. Each customer is located in one place only (i.e., in only one depot's area).
7. Customers place orders. Some customers, however, have not yet placed any orders.
8. An order contains order lines (at least one), with each line ordering a different product (i.e., no two order lines on the same order are for the same product) specifying the quantity of the product to be supplied.
9. When an order is delivered, the order is marked as delivered by entering the date delivered on the order.
10. Each customer has a credit limit.
11. Only the current prices of products will be maintained (i.e., no price history is retained).
12. The company employs sales representatives. Each sales representative looks after all the customers who are supplied from the one or more depots that are allocated exclusively to that representative.
