The company works with data entry and data storage.
Your supervisor has asked you to recommend a new operating system for the client. In your report, include the following:
Suggest an operating system for LCLL. Explain why this operating system would work the best. I am thinking that Windows 7 would be best for the company? I am not sure how to explain why.
Discuss differences/similarities of operating systems available for the client (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, UNIX, and Mac OS X). Can you help me with this?

Windows 7 can be the best software that can be used by the company as it is the present advanced OS being used. It has various enhanced features like easy navigation, opening multiple windows etc.
All the windows versions have some similar and common features like multi tasking, browsing the web easily, and connecting to company networks easily
When compared to UNIX and Mac OS X operating systems, windows are more easier and well known to most of the people. Also It is very easy for novices to use. So Windows can be preferred.
Windows 7 have some advanced feature that may help the company in organizing and performing the things easily. They include:
· Manage printers and any other hardware devices better.
· Provide data privacy and keep files securely
· It has built-in defense system for spyware.
As the company handles data and data storage and entry are its main functions, the features of Windows 7 will help in managing the data, sharing printing etc easily and securely.
