Post your thoughts on what entrepreneurship means to you and how you could become an entrepreneur.

Explanation / Answer

When it comes to my understanding, Entrepreneurship is similar to construct your own orchard which brings a lot of benefits to you as well as to others. It involves all the processes from planting a seed (initiation) , nurturing it with nutrients (resource input) and protecting it from external conditions (managing with market conditions), and demands a lot of patience to generate a considerable profit and create a brand. One only needs an idea which is practical, feasible and scalable. The human mind is capable enough to create a business out of the idea one believes in. Majority of the work is required in generation and development of an idea. Once it becomes a business, maintenance is a continuous time-based learning process.

Based on my knowledge and interests, I would start a business in education sector. Based on the need of education and my passion for the sector, I want people to be ready and equipped for future stages in life. Early education is the most determinant factor in anyone's life. I want to re-introduce this importance to parents and inculcate a value system in students which makes them study for their own understanding and not only for marks.

I am a bit unfortunate in this respect as none of my family members is in the field of business. This is reason that a continuous inspiration and encouragement has been missing from my life. However, some of my friends hail from a business family. These people have a different way of thinking and approach to life. Having enjoyed one's own success completely, they live life to the fullest and the higher risk taking ability causes them to find happiness even in the most grave situations in life. This, in my opinion and as per my experience, is the change that even a single attempt at entreprenuership, even a failed one, brings about in anyone's life.
