Jeff Bezos, born in 1964 became World's Richest man in 2017 and one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the history of mankind. He started the company called Amazon in 1994. Within 26 years took it to multiple countries and made it the most common name in the ecommerce domain.

Some of the traits that do make Jeff so successful and inspires a generation of budding business graduates can be listed below:-

1. Penchant for experimentation - Jeff has credited his childhood time spent with ranch equipments during the summers that honed his mindset for experimentation. Experimentation allows the freedom to innovate.

2. Approach activities with open mind - Jeff started his ecommerce site when the internet revolution has just started. Nobody knew the real power of internet but everybody acknowledged its potential. To startup something in that era and take amazon to the level that it has reached, one needs to have open mind.

3. To focus on process and not the result - Jeff started with an online book purchasing site and it went well for him. Soon the company became profitable. However, Jeff didnt rest on the laurels. He went ahead in his ambition to make Amazon a true ecommerce giant. He invested in warehouses when others didnt quite know why he did that. But later on, this process of investing in future and the process, allowed Amazon to get into selling of other line items and also on discount.
