What can the lessons of project management teach us about managing business processes and operations and what can the lessons of operations and business process teach us about managing projects?

This is basically a contrast between how Project Management and Operations Management can be interrelated and only if there are any similarities between them, what might they be? It is basically one of my research topic Question and Im looking for like highlights so I can better focus on how to write my final paper.

Explanation / Answer

There are many similarities and differences between Project and Operation management. Usually both are considered different but if we take a closer look then they complement each other.
