Earend Value Management :
This is a technique used by top management to evaluate the value earned/achieved over a particular period of time. It is mostly done in short time-intervals before the project completion. So, the remaing value that is to be earned is clearly identified.Then necessary changes to roadmap is defined to earn the ramianing value.
Project Managers' bonus should always depend on the EVM numbers and are for the following reasons,
Incase of considering EVM for a Capstone based project, the end performane tagged with analysis on continuous performance will help in identifying the best managers. Capstone's eveluation should be not merely based on delivery but also on the effective continuous feedback from end users.
