1.yes ,companies should provide social services for their employees inorder to encourage the employee to stay committed to their organization and work enthusiastically.Social services to employees also encourages them to do their work with job satisfaction and it increases productivity.social services like onsite day cares helps the working mothers to have work life balance.If the company itself provide onsite daycares then it would be comfortable for working women to take care of their child and it also helps in retention of the employee.
Fitness centers also provide relaxation to employees.Employees work continuously and their mind gets tired .so this fitness centers can help them to relax their mind and regain concentration on work.
Services offered by organizations:
-They provide free food for the employees at work
-They also provide health care for employees by providing some amount for their medical expenses
-They provide maternity leave for working women so that employee attrition can be reduced
-They also provide job trainnig for employees to enhance their skills
--They also provide safety and fire service inside the organzation incase of fire in the building
These are challenges for the employers to keep the employee motivated to work and get their outmost productivity by providing these services.These social services to employees are motivation factor for them and the employers have to invest separately to them inorder to reduce employee attrition and keep them motivated.
2. Benefits of flexible work schedule :
-flexibility to meet family needs,their personal work can be accomplished and they can have work life balance
-Reduces employees stress due to overload of work which inturn decreases their productivity so in flexible work schedule the employees stress is reduced
-It increases employees commitment to work.and also increases employee morale
-Absenteeism of employee is reduced because in flexible schedule they can concentrate on their personal work also
-Turnover of employees can be reduced
-The employees can work at their convinient time and they can complete the task whenever they feel fresh and stress free
-Traffics can be reduced during peak hours
-Consumption of time,gas and fuel costs can be reduced
-The employees are healthier and happier with their work and they enjoy the work they do so this inturn increases productivity
