The weather information system establishes a satellite communication link with the weather station and requests transmission of the data. Stimulus Response The summarized data is sent to the weather information system. Data: The Weather station can generate Report Summary of the current weather conditions prevailing in a geographical location by summarizing the data collected by various instrumental means such as Ground Thermometer, Anameter and Barometer. After having collected the data set from each of these instruments it needs to first divide the data into categories and then summarize the collected data. Based on the summarizations done the reports can be generated for furthur analysis of the weather.
Response: The Weather Station can then forcast/predict the future weather conditions based on the reports generated.
USE CASE DESCRIPTION FOR RECONFIGURE STATUS:-
Use Case: Reconfigure Status
Actor: Weather Station
Data: The Weather Station can Re-Configure the operations of devices such as Ground Thermometer, Anamometer and Brometer, so that it can start reading the data from an initial set value and clearing off the old/past recorded value. The Weather Station can reconfigure the operational/working of these devices after a given period in time (after a certain time has elapsed) to collect fresh/new set of data for computation. In order to do so it needs to reconfigure the operations of the devices that are currently in use.
Response: The Weather Station can collect new sets of data from the devices after having re-configured them in order to generate reports after a particular time has elapsed.
