In the given case the paging should be stored on multiple disks(one disk). It will improve performance.

why?

Because paging tables are not that big compared to the physical address data they are just a set of rules which are held to direct to the physical address and provide a virtualization of the memory.

If the paging is stored in multiple drives then there will be a performance imporvement, becasue as we know the I/O operations in the disks can be done concurrently and sprerading the page table accross the multiple drives helps us achieve that, the memory requests are served concurrently in a Round Robin fashion.
