1. What are the key issues/problems in this case? Describe how various constituencies (groups of people) have been affected.

The officer Nucera's alleged for abusing and found indulge in frequent use of racist slurs in reference to African Americans and the use of police dogs to intimidate black fans at a local high school basketball game and in an apartment complex where black people were present. The nobility of police officers is rooted in their selfless commitment to protect all communities and their pledge to honor our constitutional values and such acts shatter this belief system among the minorities. All the class of the society affected due to this shameful act. There are proud whites who also shocked about this behaviour other then black community and other communities.

2. What are the likely outcomes of Nucera’s behavior? Are there any broader implications that you can think of?

Yes there are broader implications of this kind of non sense behavior of Nucera thinking about Black people.The whole community may loose the respect and trust in white police officers. The law says every citizen is equal and police force should treat them equally. Police man is someone whom we trust and if police itself starts disrciminating with black people then whom they can trust. This will cause hierarchy among the society.

3. If you were appointed police chief to replace Chief Nucera, what would you do to lead the department going forward?

I will immediately call up a meeting of all police officers of town and strictly instruct them to not to behave badly with anyone on the basis of their colour. Besides this I will start a campaign "meet your officer" in which various social groups, NGOs and people of all community will participate and meet their respective officers. A sense of faith will be created and I also take this point among the black community that The whistleblowing officer was also a part of the police force who helped in caughting the shameful acts of Nucera which shows that the police force is serious about such acts and no culprit will be tolerated.
