Online privacy has been increasingly in the news recently, with many people expressing concerns about how their social media data is being used This article looks at how although people may say they're worried about lack of privacy. very few people actually do anything about it So, what can/sHould be done in order to protect individuals privacy? Topic 1 : The responsiblity should be for all. The consumers should know why the providing their details to companies. Whenever the information about customer is optional customers must not provide those. Companies should maintain good quality security process to make sure the data are safe. Government responsibilty is to provide the rules and regulation for data security and monitoring the same . So in general security is responsible from wvery one.
Topic2 : The best recomendations are as below
1. Change the passwords oftenly (best practice is once in a month)
2. Provide the data whenever absolutely neccessary or else do not provide.
3. Password should not be predictable(dob, current month or year , hobbies are avoidable in th epassword selection)
4. Use the proper licensed softwares
5. Make sure that all the security updates are up to date in the system. Both OS and anti virus
6. Try to use virtual keyboards where ever available.
Topic 3 : Any individual is concern about the own data on the online.
1. I ll never open any suspicious links send from the unknown user
2. All the security related softwares are up to date in system (OS and anti virus)
3. Using only the genuine versions of any software applications.
4. Changing the password for my online acvounts every month
