In fact, not a single day goes by when we don’t come across headlines about the shipping and logistics industry. But for all of the pervasiveness and advantages attached to the Internet Things and it is observed that it actually makes supply chain systems more vulnerable to cyber-attacks. Supply chains are becoming a hefty target for cyber-attacks”.
The above statement has pointed out the digital security risk in the internet technology. Give some measures to manage/minimize these risks?

Digital world has transformed modern business and technologies like cloud computing, robotics & artificial intelligence is civilizing productivity and client service but this also leads to risk on internet.
As wherever there are opportunities there are risk also .these are some digital security risk on internet technology these days:
Data theft is raising day by day .our data is not that much safe that we think it is. in cloud compute we keep data on remote servers also called as cloud.
Device attack for example slowing your websites when you surf anything on internet, injection of virus programs to your devices.
Web application is under attack for example by sqql injections hackers manipulate the data.
Ransomware, stealing of your passwords & blackmailing persons, regarding their individual data & information
Phishing
Some measures to minimize these risks are:
never use single email address for example keep two emails one for social network sites and another for significant things like online banking .it will increase your security .& decrease risk
You can use private browsing mode for surfing on internet particularly when using other devices which are not,, use incognito windows .
If you often buy things online never save passwords or debit card information’s on websites. Do not click remember me always.
Whenever using public wifi internet connections always select public system option in your laptop (by going to set network location settings in control panel)
Whenever using social media check and make sure your privacy setting are right. For example keeping a post on public or only for associates on face book.
Set mac filtering settings on your devices (laptops/computers) it will block other devices access .and they will not be able to steal your internet .only allowed devices can ake advantage
Using proper antivirus program can also help.
