Article 330. Faculty/Employee Study Privilege
Sec. 1.
Members of the faculty, officers and employees shall have the privileges of enrolling in the College for not more than nine units a semester for undergraduate courses or six units for graduate (Master’s) courses, subject to the approval of the President, provided that the course in which they are enrolled in shall redound to the benefits of their regular work in the College.
Sec. 2.
Qualification and Limitations
a. Faculty members, officials and employees who are included in the Department of Budget and Management approved plantilla can avail of the study privilege.
b. Other personnel whether teaching and non-teaching whose

plantilla were approved by the Department of Budget and Management with corresponding funding, can also avail of said study privilege.
c. Only six (6) units are allowed for graduate (Master’s) courses. The enrolling personnel shall pay any excess, thereof.
d. Only tuition fees are free.
e. The course to be enrolled in shall redound to the benefit of the regular work in the College.
f. This study privilege can only be availed by a particular faculty member or employee once in the undergraduate level and once in the graduate level. No shifting to another course is allowed.
g. The College President prior to the start of registration, shall approve first all applications for study privileges. The registering/enrolling faculty or employee shall make a request to this effect.

STRENGTH

The course should be helpful for the organization. This helps in the professional growth of the employee as well as the growth of the organization
The benefit can be availed only once in undergraduate and once in the graduate level with a limited number of units for each level. These rules force the employees to carefully select the most necessary and important courses for them
Only tuition fee is free. This helps to avoid unnecessary costs and helps in equal budget allocation for a course selector without bias

WEAKNESS
